A Chartered Accountant with more than 10 years work experience in the field of auditing and finance. Worked with Big four audit firms in India for close to 7 years in the audit department. He was handling statutory audits of MNCs who were in the business of manufacturing. Also lead the finance team for a start-up in India, for more than a year, managing a team of 8 to 10 members and was responsible for daily accounting operations, daily loan disbursement (upto INR 1,650 million per month), working capital management, collections, audit, legal and recruitment for finance roles.
The role involved frequent interaction with close to 15+ banks/NBFCs for invoicing and collections and also frequent interactions with the regional sales heads across India, as the start-up was a loan aggregator platform for used cars in India. He was also a part of the leadership team at the start up, providing strategic advice to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer for certain business decisions.
